History

AVM Mérnökiroda Kft. was founded in January 2010. Our company was established after Schneider Electric Hungaria Zrt. had decided to cease its designing activities in December 2009. AVM Mérnökiroda Kft. was created by electrical engineers with average design experience of 15-20 years formerly working in the design department of Schneider Electric.

The permanent headcount increased from the initial four to eight by 2018, and during the years of our operation we also moved our office once.

The company is still 100% owned by its employee engineers.

The company mainly found partners in the Hungarian market nevertheless also appeared on the international market indirectly through its clients. We have made design documentation for switcgears shipped to Finland, Latvia, Iraq, Oman and Gibraltar, and we also met the British and Vietnamese markets with special needs.

In Hungary we have worked mainly for power plants and larger industrial facilities.

In our ten years of operation, we have dealt with heating plants, solar, water and geothermic power plants. Many of the hungarian power plants have our plans on their shelves, like PANNON Power and Heating Plant in Pécs, the Waste-to-Energy Plant in Budapest, Kelenföld Power Plant, Dunamenti Power Plant, Szakoly Power Plant, Tura Geothermic Power Plant, Zugló Heating Plant and the Kazincbarcika BC Power Plant. We have participated in numerous solar power plant projects as consultant and documentation inspector.

We have been involved in the design, modification, and reconstruction of several major factories, chemical plants, and wastewater treatment plants, where a thoughtful concept, an experienced design approach is mandatory, making both the construction and the operation of the complex system easier and more economical.

Such facilities for example the Nitrogénművek in Pét, the Mol oil refinery, the Mercedes factory in Kecskemét, the Audi factory in Győr, the Ibiden Hungary in Dunavarsány, the Samsung factory in Göd, the Nestlé in Bükk and the Lego factory in Nyíregyháza.
